Yahoo Answers Blogging about ones own interest would be much easier than choosing an odd topic. But given the target of making money with Google Adsense, I would suggest three successful topics;

1. Amazing Cars
2. Latest Technology
3. Reviews of Music & Movies

Amazing Cars - would produce mediocre traffic with average EPC between $0.20 to $0.50 - depending on your keywords.

Technology - a high profile topic - would produce low traffic but high EPC between $1.00 & &10.00 - truly it pays to focus on this one

Reviews on Movies & Music - would produce high traffic but EPC would be very low - between $0.01 to $0.10.

One Final Note: Your Adsense success even depends on many other factors - i.e. placement of Ads, traffic and keywords on blog.
