I work at a Kroger store in OH; this is the time of year the grocery business slows down and will stay that way until about March [Easter] because people are trying to be careful with their money and pay off all the bills they ran up over Christmas. Don't give up, just be patient and keep applying. This is just a bad time of year for the grocery business, but if you can get hired on it stays busy all thru the summer and is golden from March on. Just keep after it!
